NOTE:

Preparation of galvanized steel and aluminium surfaces

Degrease and roughen surface by mechanical abrasion or abrasive sweep blasting.

Apply Denso Galvprime in accordance with the application instructions.

Apply two coats of Denso S.T. Epoxy in accordance with the application instructions.

Surface Preparation:
Category A

Abrasive blast cleaning, Standard: Sa2½. Surface profile: 50-75 microns

Category B

Fresh water wash down followed by a thorough hand/power tool cleaning. Standard: St2

Category C

Fresh Water wash down, heavy chipping hammers to remove heavy rust, thorough
hand wire brushing to remove all loose scale and old coatings(conditions where
St2 mechanical cleaning is not fully achievable due to condensation, deep pitting.

Category D No cleaning required - new cables
