A Gift of Clean Water, Supported by the Frank Coales (No. 4) Trust and Denso South Africa

Access to clean, reliable water remains a daily challenge for many childcare facilities in South Africa. Through the generous support of the Frank Coales (No. 4) Trust, facilitated by Denso South Africa, Benjamin Generation now has a long-term, sustainable water solution that will benefit hundreds of children and staff.

The project included the drilling of a 100-metre borehole, as well as the installation of a borehole motor, pump, and solar panels. This ensures a continuous supply of clean water and allows the system to operate even during electricity outages.

Benjamin Generation is a non-profit childcare centre caring for vulnerable children placed in its care by Child Services. Previously, daily water used for hygiene, sanitation, and laundry resulted in high municipal costs. With the new borehole system in place, these costs have been effectively eliminated.

The organisation operates solely through the support of individuals, trusts, churches, and corporate partners, and receives no government funding.

Denso South Africa’s involvement goes beyond financial support; it is an investment in sustainability, resilience, and the future of vulnerable children. This partnership demonstrates the positive impact of meaningful corporate social investment.
