PROJECT DETAILS
The client required a corrosion prevention system for new pipelines of a total length of 100m x 300mmØ and Denso SA offered the Denso™ Butyl Tape wrapping System as the most suitable system for their field application.
The Denso™ Butyl Tape System is designed to protect pipeline field joints from corrosion and comprises a coat of Denso™ Butyl P16HT Primer followed by a spirally wrapped double layer of Denso™ S43 Innerwrap and then a spirally wrapped double layer of Denso™ R23 Outerwrap.
This tape wrapping system provides durable and effective protection and is flexible and adaptable to various shapes and sizes of bends.
Denso™ Butyl S43 Innerwrap is wrapped around the pipe before the final layer of the Denso™ R23 Outerwrap is applied.
The Denso™ Butyl Tape Wrap System was used to protect a T-piece that was fabricated on site
