Namibia Oil and Gas Conference 2024

Denso South Africa exhibited at the Namibia Oil & Gas Conference held from 20-22 August 2024, in Windhoek, Namibia.

The 3-day event saw a pedigree of visitors attend our stand, with a number of people interested in our products and systems, for the upcoming LNG projects, as well as a number of people wanting to collaborate as a supplier of our products. The main hubs for the upcoming NOG project will be Walvis Bay and Lüderitz and there will be a large requirement of marine coatings and systems, pipework etc required for these areas. We have already received communication from a local Namibian company, who have been awarded the upgrades and construction of the shipyard in Walvis Bay, and we have submitted specifications and brochures on our SeaShield™ systems. We are looking forward to this development and being a supplier of our quality, long-term corrosion prevention products!

87^th IMESA Conference 2024

Denso South Africa proudly exhibited at the 87th IMESA Conference, held in Cape Town from November 6-8, 2024.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain and breathtaking sunsets, which set the perfect scene for sharing meals with some of our valued customers.

The conference was well-attended, drawing representatives from local municipalities and consulting engineers from across the country. Denso’s corrosion prevention systems showcased at the event captured significant interest from plant owners, asset managers, and consulting engineers, resulting in numerous inquiries for tailored corrosion prevention solutions.

A highlight of the conference was the second-day excursion focused on wastewater treatment plants, where delegates visited the Potsdam project. Here, they were able to see our flange wrap systems in action on couplings, providing them with firsthand experience of our products.

The platform provided by IMESA has strengthened our connections with engineers from various regions who may not always have the opportunity to visit us.

WISA 2024 Biennial Conference

The WISA 2024 Biennial Conference, held at the Durban International Convention Centre, was a key event for water management and sustainability. Important discussions focused on water security, the impact of climate change, and the need for innovative solutions in environmental protection and urban engineering. The conference emphasized the importance of collaboration across sectors to address the challenges posed by demand growth and infrastructure needs. It served as a platform for Denso South Africa to network, share knowledge, and drive impactful implementation strategies for the future of water in society and the environment.

Our team successfully manned the stand at WISA 2024, engaging with numerous visitors and showcasing our products/services. The event provided valuable opportunities for networking, lead generation, and brand promotion.

World Corrosion Awareness Day 2023

Denso attended the World corrosion awareness day on the 24th of April at the Corrosion Institute in Johannesburg.

This event brings the youth and future engineers together to have a better understanding of what corrosion is and how it affects our daily lives.

The team showcased our world class products on pre-applied stands. We also had the opportunity to do a practical demonstration to explain the ease of application of our various systems.

We are a proud member of the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa and believe events such as these allow us to educate the industry on world-class corrosion prevention systems.
