PROJECT DETAILS
The upgrade of National Route N3 Section 2, from the Cato Ridge Interchange to the northern end of the Dardanelles Cutting required the relocation of a 1000mmØ and 1400mmØ underground piping.
One hundred and thirty five metres of the 1000mmØ and 1400mmØ pipeline was encased in concrete and Denso SA supplied the Denso™ MDP032 as an economical alternative to protect the shop coating during the encasement process.
Denso Ultraflex 1250 Tape™ was the preferred coating system for the external protection of the welded field joints and Denso™ ST100 Epoxy was the preferred lining system for the internal protection of the welded field joints.
