PROJECT DETAILS
This project required the repair to a 1100mmØ pipeline that had been damaged during the KwaZula Natal floods in April 2022.
Repair work and maintenance commenced in October 2022 to reinstate both pipelines One and Two, with the focus being on pipeline One and repair work starting on pipeline Two in 2023.
Denso Ultraflex 1250 Tape™ was the preferred coating system for the external protection of the welded field joints and Denso™ ST100 Epoxy was the preferred lining system for the internal protection of the welded field joints.
Denso™ Glass Outerwrap was further used to protect the pipecoating that was encased in concrete.
