PROJECT DETAILS
A corrosion prevention and sealing solution was required for the client’s newly installed pipeline and Denso South Africa recommended the Denso Viscotaq™ Coating System to meet the client’s requirements.
This solution comprised of Denso ViscoWrap™ ST and Denso™ PVC HD Outerwrap, to protect the pipe sections, and Denso Viscotaq™ ST, ViscoMastic™ and Denso™ PVC Self-Adhesive Outerwrap Tape to protect the flanges.
The Denso Viscotaq™ Coating System provides a comprehensive solution of corrosion prevention, long-term performance and easy application.
Denso ViscoWrap™ ST was applied to 600mm Ø pipe sections.
Denso™ PVC HD Outerwrap Tape was applied to the Denso ViscoWrap™ ST giving it mechanical protection against back filling and moving of the fittings.
ViscoMastic™ was applied to the 600mm Ø flanges on site for corrosion protection and Denso™ PVC Self-Adhesive Outerwrap Tape was applied to the Denso ViscoWrap™ ST for mechanical protection.

Denso™ PVC HD Outerwrap Tape was applied to the Denso ViscoWrap™ ST giving it mechanical protection against back filling and moving of the fittings.
