Steelcoat™ Soil Air Interface System
A combined tape and liquid coating system for protecting the vulnerable area where pipes emerge above ground from running underground in elevated temperatures.
The Denso Soil Air Interface System™ is used to protect the section of pipe that rises from below to above ground in elevated temperatures. A section of at least 500 mm above and 500 mm below ground should be protected.
The system comprises a double layer of Denso Hotline Tape™ followed by a double layer of Denso Glass Outerwrap™. A layer of Denso Clear Outerwrap™ is then applied to help the Denso Glass Outerwrap™ to cure. After removal of the Denso Clear Outerwrap™, the system is completed by the application of Archco 65™ topcoat.
